Forgetting it all for a day

With the Coronavirus travel restrictions eased, myself and my partner decided to get out of the house for a day and get some headspace. I had vague memories of a childhood trip to Lynton & Lynmouth: A walk out to some strange rocks that I probably complained about the entire time. A vertiginous railway. A picturesque village with a river mouth leading out into a rocky bay. My partner had never been and was keen to take a look.

So we drove down past Bristol, across the rolling hills of Somerset, up over a misty Exmoor and down the unexpectedly scenic and steep road into Lynmouth Bay. Here are a few snaps from our first little adventure in months.
